Muslims targeted in SriLanka
[ Wednesday, 03 April 2013, 04:26.10 AM GMT +05:30 ]
Once again Sinhala racist’s targets minority Muslims of the country, SriLankan print media journalist said.

Speaking to our website he said,

Mosques at the Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Deduru Oya, Rajagiriya, Obeysekarapura and Dehiwala areas were attacked in year 2012.

At present Sinhala Buddhist monks stress to ban “Hala” in this country and carry out attacks against Muslim people.

These Monks ordered Sinhala nationals not to purchase dresses from Muslim shops to celebrate upcoming New Year festival. They also attacked “Fashion Bug” shop owned by a Muslim national at Pepiliyana area.

Several journalists were also injured from this attack. This attack was recorded in the security cameras fixed in the shop. Government ordered not to publish this video in any media organization.

Recent comment made by the Minister Hakeem clearly proves the ethnic differences of the Rajapaksa regime.

Minister Hakeem blamed “Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa supports the racial activities carried out by the Bodu Bala Sena organization in the country”.

However Bodu Bala Sena said migrated Tamils and Muslims in SriLanka responsible for racial attacks reported in the country.

Group of unidentified personals attacked the office of TNA parliamentarian Sridharan at Killinochchie.

People have caught the suspects and handed over to the police. However police officials released the suspects. It’s compulsory to hold investigations on attack carried out against the TNA member.

This attack was carried out near the military camp. Government is only responsible for this alleged attack.

Many international countries requests Lankan government to hold Northern Provincial Council election on September. Such attacks would create tense situation in the Tamil areas.

Buddhist monks says in order to maintain the relationship with SriLanka, Indian government should control protests stage against the country in Tamil Nadu.

Leader of the Jathika Hela Urumaya Ven. Omalbay Sobitha thero said SriLanka should deport Indians arrive from the Tamil Nadu state.

Resolutions passed in the United Nation will never stop attacks carried out against Muslim people of this country.
