Young journalist reported dead in Colombo

Young journalist of the leading news paper in Colombo reported dead in the road accident occurred near Rosmead Plce,Colombo-7, last morning.

Speedy heavy vehicle knocked down journalist while standing at the pedestrian line.

Police media unit announced journalist of Ceylon Today newspaper Amila Mendis Jayasinghe (22) reported dead on admission to the Accident Services of Colombo national hospital.

Bassnayake of the Sabragamuwa Sumana Saman Devalaby Suil Shantha Weerasekara announced preparation completed for year 2012 and 2013 season of Adams Peak.

Statue of the Saman Deva would be taken towards peak this morning.

During this season people would be able to visit cave recently found near the Adams peak. It was believe to be the cave of Lord Buddha.
